Objectives and Target Group

To enhance the understanding of less privileged Secondary 3 or above students of various industries through visits to enterprises and government departments, so as to encourage them to explore their future career paths early

Project Format

The support from The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust and funds contributed by business associations are used to subsidise corporate visits organised by NGOs, which aim to enhance youths’ understanding of different industries.  In addition to visits at the workplace, management and employees of participating enterprises will also share with youths job prospects as well as experience and insights from their day-to-day work, which helps to narrow the gap between youths’ expectations and work life in the real world for their life planning.

To date, over 1 700 corporate visits have been arranged under the programme, benefitting over 20 000 students.  The visits cover a wide range of industries including accounting, aviation, aircraft maintenance, banking and finance, beauty, child care, construction, creative arts and design, disciplined services, education, engineering, food and beverages, funeral services, hair styling and design, hospitality and tourism,  insurance, IT and games development, logistics, manufacturing, media and communications, medical services, music, performing arts, pet grooming and training, photography, project management, property management, public administration, public transport, retail, social services, sports, telecommunications, town planning and wedding planning
