This web site concerns the Commission on Poverty which was set up in 2005 and terminated on 30 June 2007. This web site will no longer be updated. The information on this web site should be for reference only.

In accordance with the pledge in the Chief Executive’s Election Manifesto, the Fourth Term of the HKSAR Government announced on 9 November 2012 the establishment of the Commission on Poverty (the Commission) and its membership which comprises 18 non-official members and four ex-officio members appointed by the Chief Executive. Please refer to the relevant press release for details. The Commission will be chaired by the Chief Secretary for Administration and the secretariat support will be provided by an office set up under the Chief Secretary for Administration’s office.
